User data deletion

You can request deletion of your Warsha account and associated personal data at any time. This page explains how — including for Meta (Facebook) and Google app compliance.

How to request deletion

Email warshaa961@gmail.com from the email address linked to your Warsha account (including Google or Facebook login email if that is how you signed up).
Use the subject line: Warsha data deletion request.
Include your full name and, if possible, the phone number or role (buyer / shop / delivery) on the account so we can locate it.

In-app deletion

The Warsha app includes an in-app Delete account option under Account settings. This removes your Firebase Auth login and your user profile document. You may still email us at warshaa961@gmail.com if you prefer or if in-app deletion fails.

What we delete

When we process a verified request, we delete or irreversibly anonymize:

Your Warsha user profile (name, email, phone, role, profile photo, saved addresses)
Authentication records tied to your account in Firebase Auth
Your persisted cart and personal subcollections under your user ID
Profile photos and other Storage files under your user’s profile path (where feasible)
Early-registration website submissions, on request, if we can match them to you

What we may keep (and why)

Open or recent orders — if you have an active order, we may need to retain delivery and contact details until the order is completed or cancelled, then apply our retention policy.
Completed order records — minimized or anonymized records may be kept for accounting, disputes, fraud prevention, or legal compliance for [ORDER_RETENTION] (to be confirmed).
Order chat messages — messages in orders you participated in may remain visible to other parties in that order thread in anonymized or redacted form, or be retained per [ORDER_RETENTION].
Shop catalogs (shop owners) — deleting a shop owner account does not automatically delete every product listing. We may deactivate the store and remove or anonymize listings as part of offboarding. Contact us if you are closing a shop.
Backups & logs — limited technical backups may persist for a short period before automatic purge.

Timeframe

We aim to complete deletion requests within 30 days of verifying your identity and ownership of the account. You will receive a confirmation email when the process is finished or if we need more information.

Social logins (Google / Meta)

Deleting your Warsha account does not automatically delete your Google or Facebook account. To revoke Warsha’s access to those providers, remove the Warsha app from your Google or Meta account settings after deletion.
